Insight

Cadillac has always stood tall as a symbol of luxury, aspiration, and urban elegance for the Black community. The brand’s unmistakable presence in hip hop lyrics and videos isn’t coincidence… it’s legacy.

As hip hop turned 50, we tapped into this shared history to celebrate the deep, enduring bond between Cadillac, the culture, and the community, brought to life by none other than hip hop legend MC Lyte.

Execution

The campaign ran across a custom network of 58 stations and featured 3 Spotset- produced audio spots, voiced by hip-hop icon MC Lyte, who from behind the wheel of her Cadillac, reflects on her legacy and the brand’s deep roots in hip-hop culture.
