Established in 1976, The National Association of Black Owned Broadcasters (NABOB) is the only organization representing the interests of African American owners of radio stations across the country.
While African Americans constitute 14% of the U.S. population, they own < 2% of the commercial broadcast licenses in the United States.
NABOB’s overall objective is to maximize the potential for success of member stations through advocacy and, most significantly, advertising sales.
